We hope you are all enjoying these long awaited summer days. While the pace at which we are all working toward transparency in our food has slowed down, we certainly have not stopped. We are already starting to speak about our next steps. But, before we can move on, we need Governor Malloy to sign the GMO labeling bill.
We have no reason to believe Governor Malloy will not sign the bill, but now that we know the GMO labeling bill has ended up on his desk, we would like to ask him to sign it now. Please send Governor Malloy an e-mail today by CLICKING HERE. Please use the below language or write something in your own words. We know everyone will be polite and positive. We all heard Governor Malloy announce his support publicly, we just need to ensure that the final step is completed.

Thank you very much for your support of the GMO labeling bill, Public Act No. 13-183. I am looking forward to hearing the news that you have signed the bill. I hope you will speak to your colleagues in the northeast and ask them to join us in providing consumers the transparency in our food that Americans are all looking for.”
